Dear Georgetown University Traveler,
You may have read the recent administrative memo from the Purchasing and Contracts office indicating some changes regarding using West End Travel’s services.
West End Travel is happy to continue to assist you with your travel needs either by direct billing your cost center or by using your Georgetown University ProCard or your personal credit card according to the list below.
West End Travel will continue to:
• Book air reservations for all major carriers via your cost center.
• ProCard or credit card information will be requested only for Southwest and Virgin America airlines. The latter is distinct from Virgin Atlantic.
• Book hotel reservations for Georgetown University travelers who use their ProCard or personal credit card. Travelers will continue to receive corporate hotel rates and discounted rates at all preferred hotels with which West End Travel has negotiated special rates.
• Book reservations for rail travel at preferred rates on Amtrak, including Acela, for Georgetown University travelers who use ProCard or personal credit card.
• Reserve car and other land transportation services with discounted rates, including guaranteed special daily parking rate (US$6.40, excluding tax) for Georgetown University travelers using the Blue Lot, BWI’s best airport parking facility. Register through Airport Fast Park Frequent Parker Program. Use promotional code 0327207.
