TSA Secure Flight Initiative
The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has notified airlines about
information regarding Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD). To comply with TSA’s
requirements, West End Travel’s passengers reservation records will now include: full
name, date of birth and gender, as it appears on their non-expired government-issued
photo ID they plan to use for travel identification, for all passengers flying to, from,
within, and over the United States.
Passenger reservations without full SFPD will be
rejected by the TSA's Secure Flight rule and passengers will be denied boarding. Although
this mandate for airlines is effective November 1, 2010, some airlines have begun
enforcing the SFPDto ensure compliance with the TSA and will not allow travel agencies to
issue tickets without required information. As Sabre Travel Network® user, West End
Travel is in full compliance TSA SFPD requirements.
