Our President

Vivianne Pommier opened West End Travel in 1981 to service corporate accounts in the Washington area. Formerly the office manager of a large D.C. law firm, she saw the need for travel agencies to improve their service to the corporate arena. West End Travel has been listed in the Washington Business Journal as one of the top women owned businesses in the metropolitan Washington area, and as one of the top volume Travel Agencies in the metropolitan area.

In addition to being the president of West End Travel, Vivianne has also been the “travel reporter” on WUSA-TV from 1996-2001 was covering consumer and leisure travel on two weekly segments as well as spot news, continues monthly now.   Since June 1999, she also has been reporting on Fox 5 morning news. She still works closely with both networks and is often featured monthly.
